Great to have, needs improvement for daily use

Having an app to coordinate exercises with a PT and being able to review videos of the exercises is an excellent way to manage a PT program and ensure progress. I wouldn’t trade it, since this is the app my PT uses and it’s so much better than email.

When you use it every day, though, little things get annoying, such as:
- auto play of videos every time. You only need to watch them the first time or two! There’s not even a setting that lets you turn this off!
- mark as complete doesn’t let you skip an exercise. Let’s say I only do bicep curls every other day, but they are the second exercise in my program. If I’m trying to go through and mark all the others as done, it just keep putting bicep curls in front of me instead of the next exercise in the list. So I have to wait for bicep curls to load, then close it, then find the next exercise, then do that all over again repeatedly.
- loading time is long. When I launch the app, it takes a few second before you can start interacting. This is not convenient if you are trying to check it between exercises
- I wish there was a way to select multiple exercises and mark them as done in one batch. It’s a very slow progress to have to load each exercise. Why does it need a progress bar just to say “marked as complete” each time?
- the “all exercises are complete” message should be more celebratory. Compare to an app like Fitbit for example. I spend an hour every day motivating myself to get through exercises and all the app gives me as acknowledgement is a robotic line of tiny black text. Even my 12-year-old find this funny!

So great idea, use it if your PT does, it works, but know that execution could use improvement. The intention is for someone to use it regularly and often, but it’s not designed so that’s an optimal experience.

I like it

I love that there are videos of each exercise. I just wish there was a way I could check off each exercise I complete each day. It gives you notifications that you need to complete x number of exercises. But you have to click on each one, and it doesn’t show which one is completed. So for example, if I had 16 exercises and it’s showing I have 1 that wasn’t completed and I couldn’t remember which one, there is no way to tell which one I missed. Seems like a fairly easy fix to make a good app an awesome app.

Awesome app

Awesome app, easy to use, very detailed written and video instructions including number of reps and sets from my physical therapist. You can easily log each exercise and the app is super easy, convenient, and helpful.
