Podstack is a podcast player that takes the ads out.
It listens to each episode before you do and cuts the ad reads out of the audio, so an episode starts where the show starts. The sponsors are still named on the episode, in words, so the people who paid for it still get their mention.
ARTICLES, READ ALOUD
Point Podstack at a newsletter, a blog or a news site and each new piece becomes an episode, read in a natural voice. Forward a newsletter to your own Podstack address and it is in your episodes a few minutes later. If the voice says a word wrong, tap it and pick how it should sound.
DISCOVER
Shows picked from what you already listen to. Each one comes with a 20-second trailer: why it was picked for you, then what it is. Tap once to hear it, and the episode starts right after.
SNIP AND SHARE
Tap the scissors to keep the best minute of an episode. Send it, or a whole episode, as a link that plays in any browser, with nothing to install.

Podstack was made by somebody who reads at very large text, so it works at very large text: big buttons, words that never clip, and nothing told to you by colour alone.
