The majority of office workers, drivers and others spend the most day sitting. It may lead to Poor posture, when some muscles tighten up or shorten, whereas others lengthen and become weak.

Poor posture can lead to lots of unpleased things like:
- Pain in neck, back and shoulders
- Impede the ability of the lungs to expand
- Lordosis, Kyphosis, and Scoliosis

Once you understand and achieve a better posture (neutral positioning), it is your job to try and keep this posture throughout the day, which is hard because it takes conscious awareness and focus. When your attention is elsewhere (work tasks, on the teacher, social networks, etc.), posture is often the first thing to become compromised.

Incredibly helpfull

I just downloaded this app and after using it for a couple of hours bought the upgrade. The extra features are worth the small price you pay. I have now been using it for 2 days and am sorry I did not know about this app before. It works with Apple Watch! I have a neck problem and PT worked to improve my posture to help. I left the app set, for now, at the 30 minute mark and whether sitting or standing I get a ping and a haptic tap and I straighten up. Fantastic! There is also a “clock” to set the time of day/night so that you can regulate when it will be functioning (or not).

Simple & Yes, Notifications Go to Watch

Pretty straight forward app. Does what I installed it for. Simple UI. If your notifications aren’t going to your watch, make sure to turn it it on in your watch settings. Notifications > Scroll down to “Mirror iPhone Alerts From:” > Turn on for Posture Reminder. Your notifications will NOT go to your watch if your phone is unlocked, if your watch is locked, OR if your Do Not Disturb is on. That’s how iPhone Alert Mirroring works. You don’t need it to have its own app for Apple Watch.

Excellent! It is a true reminder!!

It’s amazing how improperly we sit and stand all the time. This app has really made me conscious enough to correct my posture. Each time it sends a notification, I realize how useful it is as in the duration between reminders I have already lost the good posture. I have scoliosis and these reminders are so badly needed. My reminder is set to every 30 minutes.
