PROJECT NURSERY MONITOR 4+

I used this religiously when we would have friends over I would turn it on and have my daughters door closed so the noise wouldn’t get to her. My sister is sick and I need to leave the house for something. My child is asleep and I just want my sister to be able to hear her because she doesn’t want to be in my babies room coughing and wake her up. But now THERES NO CAMERAS CONNECTED?!?! Seriously the one time I NEED this app to work you’re telling me there is no camera connected? Not only that but when trying to setup different users so other people can watch her, it was a freaking hassle and proved to be quite difficult. I also like the idea of tapping in when I’m away but MAN I can’t get over this not having my camera even though I scanned it and like 3 DIFFERENT devices are just spinning in circles not adding anything WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG AND WHY IS THIS A HASSLE. This is supposed to be for the safety of my child and clearly it’s failing. Buy another product because they clearly dgaf about this app.

Good camera and good quality video. I’m glad the new model has a built in battery in the camera so it can be placed in different rooms without the hassle of being tethered to an outlet. I also like that it is WiFi compatible and able to view live streams remotely. But I’m experiencing a few abnormalities. First thing I’d like to mention is that the time on the camera is not synching with the parent monitor nor through the app in the “camera time set” option (it is ahead by about 8 hours). Secondly, the pan/tilt features are reversed. When I swipe left, the camera turns to the right. Same goes for up and down-swipe up and it’ll tilt down. And lastly I’d like to address the picture/video record feature. I was surprised and I also appreciated that the camera came with its own memory card (most electronics do not provide external memory card and the majority of them say “sold separately”). So, when I try to take a snapshot of my baby or attempt to record a video clip, it states “Save Failed”. I looked up the manual and there it says to format the memory card, which I did to no avail.
Are these frequent complaints about this monitor? If so, are there any updates that would resolve these problems? Or is it something that could easily be fixed? I tried looking online for answers but came up short with any answers or solutions.

I used to think this monitor was great when I used it sparingly in the few hours between my son’s bedtime and ours, when his co-sleeper was in our room. Now that he’s in his own room though, I’ve used the app and the camera more, and with it learned how is terrible it is. I use it to keep tabs on my little guy napping and overnight, and it freezes and/or completely closes once a day. The sound also often cuts out or shuts itself off, and I have to hit the speaker icon twice to get it to come back on. Luckily our baby is just down the hall so I can often hear him cry at night even if the app has crashed and closed (which happens often), but for a camera that is almost $300 dollars, the app is nonsense.
