Although I love the concept of being able to locate the remote, that’s the only good thing. This last one I’ve purchased worked for 1 week and now it won’t connect/pair!

If you’re considering getting this app you must have purchased an RCA product. Do yourself a favor and return it for a refund while you can. Tell everyone and their neighbor that the product is junk. The remotes associated with this app are junk and will randomly disconnect frequently. I am lucky if I can make it a week before having to reprogram the remote. Sometimes it fails multiple times a day. Today the app is just not working altogether, claiming there is a 502 server error on RCA’s side. There is no way to get any additional information, or figure out a workaround. As far as I’m concerned the outage is permanent—I’ll be uninstalling the app and tossing these remotes in the trash.

Would not even let me put it on my phone. It said my phone was too new. My phone is two years old so what does that tell you about this remote so I put it on my iPad instead and it wouldn’t do anything don’t waste your time or money on this remote or app so disappointed you know to have an remote finder is like the key to success in life what a letdown

Universal remote set up requires app and Bluetooth through my phone but it doesn’t do anything besides attempt and fail to connect and never works. Additionally, there’s no way to bypass any of it, so you’re relying solely on an app that doesn’t function properly. In conclusion, I just wasted 45 minutes and 17$. Just get a Roku ig😂
