With QuickDrop, you can seamlessly send and receive photos, videos, text files, and more between your Android phone and your iPhone, iPad or Mac using Quick Share in the same Wi-Fi network. Received files will be stored in the Files app, and are transmitted end-to-end encrypted over Wi-Fi - so no cloud is involved in the process.
To send files from your iPhone and iPad to your Mac or Android device, just select "Share" or tap the share icon for a file you want to transfer, and choose "QuickDrop". If you don't see QuickDrop in the list, scroll right until you see "More", then choose "Edit", and enable the toggle for QuickDrop.
Other devices on the same network with QuickDrop installed and running will appear automatically. You can also open QuickDrop, tap on a device, and choose one or multiple files from the Files app, choose one or multiple photos and videos, or send the contents of your clipboard.
After that, you will see a notification on your other device, which allows you to accept or decline the file transfer. To receive files, you simply need to open the QuickDrop app.

Had the hardest time getting files from my Galaxy A16 to my Macbook Pro. Maybe it was just me, but QuickDrop took the "me" out of the equation. After installing, I click on my phone as the file originator, then clcik on the file I want to transfer from the file manager screen that automatically opens, and in about 2 seconds, I hear the file download onto my Mac. Nothing could be simpler. This is an amazing app. Simply amazing!!!
Lickity Split Fast

Just downloaded this app and purchased the onetime fee for video download. WOW! This is seriously fast and the ease of use is incredible. Just got a new phone after having my last one for just over 5 yrs and the speed that things upload are insane! The fact I can direct the upload to a specific folder is absolute GOLD!!!
Simple and Functional
MediaWhapper
Simple to install, powered right up and connected immediately with Samsung QuickShare, who found my Mac immediately. File transfer was smooth and uneventful. Found the transferred file in “Downloads”, and that can be changed through the QuickDrop “settings” interface.Very pleased!
The app is behind a paywall
Insert a clever nickname
It works great but it’s crazy I would have to subscribe to a monthly subscription just to be able to do something I should be able to do anyways…this is why I can’t stand apple. The devs say transferring files from Mac to phone is free, but transferring from phone to Mac you will be prompted only once to subscribe. The having to pay for a basic function IS THE PROBLEM. I mostly transfer from my phone to my Mac for editing. It makes no sense for the app not to be completely free at base level function. It’s honestly useless ESPECIALLY in my case.
This version contains stability improvements.
