With Rain, you can easily withdraw portions of your paycheck before payday - no more waiting two weeks!

Rain is not a loan. You can access money you’ve already earned whenever you want to. All you have to do is add a card (any card) to the app and withdraw when you’re ready.

This is an employer-sponsored benefit that connects directly to employer payroll and timekeeping systems to give you access to your funds when you need them most.

Rain also includes financial wellness tools such as the ability to live chat with a financial wellness coach for free, and access to benefits such as prescription drug discount plans.

Early access to wages means no more late fees, overdraft fees, or high-interest payday loans.

How it works:
As you work through the week, your available balance will increase. You can request money from your available balance whenever it makes the most sense for you. You can use Rain to pay your bills, fill your tank with gas, and whatever else you need to meet your financial goals. Plus, you can chat with our financial coaches to get budgeting and saving assistance or help raise your credit score.

All of Rain’s information is highly secure and follows all federal and state regulations for wage assignment.

Visit https://rain.us for more information.

For customer service, call or text 424-369-7246 from Monday through Friday 9-5 central or email care@rain.us. You can also live chat with us once you’re logged into the app.

Offered through my place of employment...

As with most apps, there are things to be happy about and things you don’t really care too much for. I haven’t gotten to experience all of the features just yet, however I have withdrawn money to see how it works. I like that the money can come instantly to your card but you pay like $3.99 just to receive it right away. Otherwise you can wait 3 business days to have it sent to your bank account...
Also it takes almost 24 hours for my funds to show up on rain after working my shift. I’m not sure if that’s an app issue or the communication of hours worked from my work place... it’s seemingly quick but if you’re in a pickle it’d be nice to get your nickel a little more quickle. 😂 I’d say the biggest downfall is having to pay $4 just to get your money that you worked for right after you worked the shift. On the flip side it’s still a nice feature rather than having to wait the two weeks in between checks for those of us who get paid by weekly. Overall a very useful app.

Trouble getting started

For the first week I tried using this app I kept getting the runaround about what was keeping me from being able to put in my hours. Rain said my job had me on hold but nobody at my company had any idea why they were saying that since they didn’t have my account on hold for any reason so I got paid normally and hoped I wouldn’t need it but I did and when I opened up the app it allowed me to put in my hours. I still have trouble with my hours being accepted every day bc they go by a printout my company provides which uses the dates the projects are due not necessarily the day the work was done but that was explained to me in detail by someone who took the time to investigate my issue instead of passing the buck so I’m much more satisfied with the app now
