Big fan of ReadAi, I just always wished they had a mobile app so I can use their features on the go or record ad hoc in person meetings on my phone and get the readouts. Well I no longer need to wish for that, someone must have read my customer support tickets! Thank you and keep up the good work!

After reading all these reviews, I thought Read AI would be perfect for taking notes and transcripts. However, that appears not to be the situation. In order to use this application, you must sync a calendar to it, but what happens if you want to do an impromptu meeting and the meeting isn't in your calendar.. Then what?I haven't been able to get the app configured because I'm not able to get past connecting it to a Google or Outlook calendars; but if I don't have either one then what am I supposed to do? It seems to me as this app just wants your contacts and calendar details. I've written to support, and hopefully they could provide more detail details as to how. To navigate within their app and to make it function as a note, taking AI that can generate summaries. I don't do web meetings and I don't have a calendar so is this app actually able to function without those two parameters? As of right now, I don't believe so hopefully support can provide more clarity. Very disappointed.

Read requires a calendar to be connected upon account creation in order to detect upcoming meetings and determine proper access permissions for reports based on meeting participants. If you’re able to connect a calendar, you can still capture impromptu meetings on iOS by just opening the app and pressing Record.If you don’t use Google, Outlook, or Zoom calendars, we understand the onboarding flow may be frustrating. We appreciate you flagging this, and we’ll pass your feedback along to our team, who appreciates user input when planning and prioritizing our development roadmap.

I used the IOS app for Read in an interview because my computer was on the fritz and it was exactly what I was looking for!Read was able let me talk with the person across the table from me instead of focusing on note taking.

We've added a new consent dialog that appears before you start a recording. It reminds you to confirm that everyone in the conversation has agreed to be recorded, helping ensure a respectful and transparent experience for all participants.
