I’d advise a “trial” run to get familiar with the app. Tip: If your address doesn’t work in the app, try using nearby intersection. Also, schedule a day ahead to get the day/time you need, if possible. You can schedule the same day, but time may be a little later if it gets booked up. Very pleased to have this service!

If you’re in a hurry, and would like to get to work on time in the morning, I would avoid Pingo, otherwise you would most likely end up late. Somehow I am under the impression that the driver in the early morning shift (around 6-6:30am, in my area) tried to avoid picking me up, as making a turn at a corner could be a bit challenging for him. I made the conclusion by tracking (multiple times) how he drove around in the area. I wish I were wrong!

However, if you are going home from Kent Transition Station, Pingo is absolutely a great option, not only can you get home a lot quicker, but the drivers in the afternoon/evening shifts are professional, pleasant, with great attitude, and fun to ride with. Great experience with the pm drivers. Thank you Pingo!

I have taken a few Pingo rides in Houston and it’s great. The drivers are friendly and rides are fast and reliable even though I was sharing the vehicle with other riders for part of my trip as well. I will definitely be using this service more often. I wish they would provide Pingo in more places!!
