Description

Making phone calls has never been easier if you are deaf or hard of hearing. You can now call your family, friends, doctor and company helplines - in complete independence!

Discover the market's fastest and hugely reliable call transcription application. Rogervoice is the first software for the deaf and hard of hearing that can live subtitle all of your calls at home and abroad in over 80 languages.

- How do you use the application?

It's practical and easy: type in a number or choose one from your contacts. Make a call to whoever you want, whenever you want.

Read speech in real-time: when the person you are talking to speaks, their speech is instantly displayed as text on your screen.

You can reply directly by speaking, or by text. When you write during a call, a voice synthesiser will read your message to the listener.

- NO EMERGENCY CALLS: Rogervoice cannot process emergency calls or calls to premium-rate numbers.
- What are the requirements?

You must have a mobile phone number (sign up is by SMS) and a smartphone with a SIM card. You also need a high-bandwidth connection, whether mobile (3G, 4G) or WiFi.

- Subscriptions, plans and reimbursement

To be able to make calls to people who don't have the Rogervoice application, you must have a Rogervoice subscription which covers the cost of calls.

The plan pricings are shown on our website and in the application.

- Incoming calls

You can also receive calls with our Rogernumber service. To do so, you will need to subscribe and register for a Rogervoice number. The Rogervoice number is free of charge. Share your Rogernumber with all your contacts, friends and family. The Rogervoice app rings when this number is called.

Betsy E ,

Bless you!

I gave it a 4 star because the transcriptions are touchy but THANK YOU! I am able to talk with my family again! The transcription used to be better before their big upgrade but they are constantly working on improving the app. I love that I can hear the other person’s voice and laughter as well as read what they are saying. Pass this app along to your hearing professional so they can spread the word too. I find their customer service to be very helpful! Keep in mind the time difference folks, they are in France!

It works really well!

It’s a great app and the transcription is pretty solid, not perfect, but fast and mostly accurate. The only suggestion I have is that there be a setting to allow the “speaker phone” to be on by default. I think many people using this are hard of hearing, but not necessarily completely deaf. Just like close captioning on TV, to be able to hear the audio but I also see the words goes a really long way. My father who is older (90) and hard of hearing has a very difficult time remembering to hit the big + sign and then recognize the gray speaker icon and then remember to hit that icon so it turns green to then hear the sound of the other person. If there was a simple toggle where you can decide if the speaker is on by default or off by default, that would be great and it would get five stars! Thanks for all the work here!

Useful App for Hearing Impaired people with Speech Ability

This app is a great tool when it comes to speaking with people over the phone. In fact, this app helped me land a job since most of the interviews were through a phone with recruiter. Before this app, I had a tough time landing a job since it was difficult for me to speak with the recruiter unless it was an in-person interview.

Note to point, the live captioning is not perfect and some transcripts can get lost in the conversation. But I believe the developers are hard at work in closing those gaps. There are a few bugs like any other app. I am hoping for the best to come out of this so we can speak to people over the phone with more confidence.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Our team is working hard to make Rogervoice consistently a better experience for our users. Feel free to contact us via the app if you have any questions or concerns.
