They didn’t show me any new settlements that I didn’t already know about from the class action emails you can subscribe to. Linking my financial account to find savings didn’t result in anything changing . The page doesn’t change with any information or suggestions So I don’t think they do anything with your financial information for your benefit After linking my account it just says same thing “link your account to find more savings but I’ve already linked the accounts? I linked email too but it says I’m still missing out because I haven’t linked both. I hate to complain but it’s like logging into a website and it just takes you to the login page every time

MISLEADING & NON REFUNDABLE
aligonzx
Downloaded the app due to the ratings and reviews. Was only presented with a couple options - all said i was eligible. Once getting into it a little bit, it was determined I was not actually eligible and had wasted my time and money. Cancelled my subscription the same night and reached out to inquire about a refund seeing as my expectations were not met, the options given were not actually applicable to me (required living in New York or Las Vegas and I had only used it less than an hour. They let me know that Apple would be responsible for refunding the subscription. Reached out to Apple which is just a whole mess of itself but they denied my claim 2 times and just had a conversation with Neha who yet again did not help me with a single thing. She did let me know that it was automated decision and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked her to specify why the request was being denied and she said she was not able to go into detail about their process and/or how they came to this conclusion. She did send me a link to leave feedback on the experience though! Just reached out to SettleMate again to see if they are willing to give me a refund or not - will update once I know more. I don’t know but as of right now it seems like the perfect scamming partnership is happening between Apple & SettleMate! Please just avoid it as a whole and if you choose not to heed my advice, may it go better for you than it did me!

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating that must have been. SettleMate does not guarantee eligibility or payouts—settlement eligibility is determined by the settlement administrators and can vary based on location and other criteria.Regarding refunds, all subscriptions and refund decisions are handled entirely by Apple, and unfortunately we don’t have the ability to override or issue refunds on our end once Apple has made a decision. We do appreciate you reaching out to us again, and we’re always happy to review your account or clarify how settlement eligibility works. We also regularly add new claims and update existing ones, so availability can change over time.If you’d like further assistance or have specific questions, please contact us at support@settlemate.io and we’ll do our best to help.
Cool and easy to understand app, but broken UI functions make it nearly useless
swagwagon37
I found the information presented in an easy and digestible format which is nice. It makes it very easy to understand what class actions are available and how relevant they may be to you. This part of the app is pretty great! However, when trying to fill out your birthdate on a form, the calendar format does not allow you to select the year, month, or day manually, you have to tap through each month individually. I was born in 1997… I had to tap the calendar arrow at least 336 times to get to my birth date. After doing so, I accidentally pressed the wrong date and instead of bringing back up the month and year I selected when I tried to correct my mistake, it brought me back to the current calendar date! I stopped filing out the form to write this review, so I will have to tap a button at least 672 times just to fill out a settlement worth $11… yikes! If this feature remains unfixed, I will not be renewing my subscription and cannot rate this application any higher. No matter how useful your application and the data you provide may be, making your UI as cumbersome as this wastes my time and ultimately makes your app useless to me.

Bait & switch and no value
Liammalone
I watched an ad that featured this app’s users discussing a specific settlement that SettleMate got for them. I downloaded the app that day, from the ad’s link, and that company’s settlement I was seeking was not available. That was incredibly disappointing. It felt like a very misleading ad that can only be described as “bait and switch” IMO. Also, I emailed them that I was charged and I described this scenario and requested a refund. I have not heard back which also makes me think their customer service is not sufficient. I would definitely not recommend this app. I wish I would have read the other reviews before getting charged for a month. While the app had other offers, I either was not eligible or I believe it’s highly unlikely that I would expect a settlement payment, so my preference would just be a refund. I don’t think that’s going to happen, but if it did, I would be willing to remove or edit this review. I also see that SettleMate is accusing reviewers of being illegitimate which is not a great look.
