The official SF311 app for residents and visitors to San Francisco allows users to quickly and easily report quality of life issues by sending pictures, a brief description, and a map based location. Whether reporting issues such as graffiti, potholes, or street cleaning, the app will route requests directly to the appropriate servicing agency for quicker response time. The user can view the status of the case in the app and receive a notification of its completion.

I have been using is SF311 apps for more than 3 months. It is convenient for reporting illegal parking blocking the driveway. However there is no way to cancel the block driveway request. You have to call SFMTS to cancel the call. there are many occasions that I submitted the report of blocking driveway, there were no show from parking enforcement. The best way is still calling in.

Amazing app

This is a must have app if you live in San Francisco. They recently added the ability to report illegal parking which is rampant. Cars parked on sidewalks, blocking pedestrians. Cars parked in bike lanes. With this app, you snap a photo, upload it, and within minutes the city will write them a ticket and hopefully that person never parks illegally again.

Great app, highly recommend.

Why have an app if you can’t report MUNi?

The function of this app is very limited compared to the full range of things that SF311 actually covers. That you cant even provide a fast user friendly way to report problems with MUNi, the most complained thing about your service gets, is telling. Sometimes calling and sitting on hold isn’t an option. In this tech-central city, the app should be much better.
