An Okay job
I decided to give this place a try after Greener Cleaners sadly closed, and I probably won’t be back. I had instructed them to carefully clean my clothes so as to prevent fading. When I picked up my clothes and examined them, I could see signs of fading in the seat of my pants as well as the collar of my shirt. I had taken all of these items to Greener Cleaners over the last year and had never once gotten an item back that had signs of fading. I guess I’ll just look elsewhere for my dry cleaning.
I have been using Mulberrys/Laundry Locker for years, and their service quality In SF has declined to the point that it’s almost unusable. First, the app is very difficult to use and provides almost no useful functionality. The "locations" tab is missing many of their locker locations, and it's very difficult to place an order at a locker because the "order" pane often doesn't show any nearby lockers. I also find it strange that I can't place an order from the "locations" tab, which would be much more convenient than the way orders are placed in the app.
Also, the lockers are falling apart. I usually use the lockers at 475 Sansome Street, and almost all of the lockers at that location are broken. Only 2-3 work, out of close to a dozen lockers. This location is also missing from the "locations" tab, even though it's available as an option on the "orders" page.
Also, I find it very strange that Mulberrys/Laundry Locker now separates all my orders and delivers each part of my order separately. Laundry Locker never did this before it was acquired by Mulberrys, and this is a huge step down in service quality and convenience.
All in all, the main selling point of these lockers is that they're convenient, but Mulberrys seems to be doing everything in its power to make them less convenient.
App is very buggy
I’ve used this dry cleaner for some time. As a dry cleaning service they are fine - quite expensive but there is no competition in my area. Their storefront location is somewhat inconvenient to where I live, so I was thrilled to be able to schedule pick up and drop off through the app.
The app is very buggy. On multiple instances when I tried to select a pick-up or drop-off window, I got an error message and could not complete my transaction. Even worse, when I was able to schedule a pick-up, nobody came at the arranged time. When I called Customer Support, they had no record of my order, even though I had received an e-mail confirmation.
This should be a great service, but it is even more infuriating as a poorly-made app that doesn’t reliably sync with actual store and driver operations.
