Separate App, Why?
This printer is a thermal printer. The fact that you need to have a separate app in order to print with a Bluetooth printer is beyond bizarre. Then when you do print something, I have to delete the app & reinstall in order for it to show up in my files or it’ll just show the last document I printed instead of the new document that I’ve downloaded. Very bizarre.
Works good but confusing directions
So for those who are having difficulty with the importing of files to print, here’s the easiest way I can explain it. First, I’m assuming you were able to download the app, connect the printer via Bluetooth, and installed the included driver from the USB drive or the website.
I’m using an IPhone 14 just for reference.
1) select the document you want to import and save it to your files folder.
2) go into the files folder and select the document
3) choose the SharpFox app to open the document (this is what will actually import the file in order to print)
4) the file will be listed in the file list on the app and now you can select the file to begin printing
5) select the different options that you would like to apply for your print job (quality, orientation, etc.)
6) finally select print document to start the printing process
I understand the instructions that came with the printer are horrendous but once you figure out the process, the printer works as intended. I’m very happy that I’m going to have printer capabilities on the road. It’s going to save me a lot of time and energy to print documents on the fly instead of having to track down a location to print from. I hope these directions are somewhat helpful in getting your printer up and running.
Was working now not accessing photos
I was using this program it was working. I used screenshots of art to put them on the app in templates It did show all my photos now it shows only a few. I’ve uninstalled the program reinstalled it went into settings and allowed full access but the app still will not access the photos I need to access. The support is all in another language. What can I do to fix this and be able to see the photos I need to be able to print them? This is being used to create tattoo stencils.
