Whether you’re in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Prague and beyond, there’s a Sherpa tour for you! Just fire up the app, select a tour and follow the map to the first GPS point. When you’re there, activate your Sherpa avatar guide and immerse yourself in your surroundings with audio narration as you follow the guided city walks. Turn by turn directions make it easy to find the next location, so you’ll never be lost.

The themed tours have been created by some of the world’s best tour guides and MA/PhD level experts. With most tours taking between 1-2 hours to complete & containing 40 to 60 minutes of audio narration, on average, Sherpa provides the highest quality sightseeing experiences & walking tours available. The tours cost a fraction of what hiring a ‘real-life’ tour guide would and you can take the tour at your own pace. Want to stop for lunch? Go ahead!

The remote tours can be experienced with any iPhones with iOS 11.0 or later installed. The AR GPS tours are for only the 6S and later iPhones (including the first generation SE phone).

There is currently one subscription plan: Sherpa Premium. For $49.99/year, you have access to our entire library of 150+ tours in 80+ cities, with new ones added every month.

Subscription details: This app offers one subscription option: $49.99/year for a 12-month enrollment with Sherpa Premium. This app also allows you to purchase individual tours. Additionally, there is always at least one full tour completely free. Your payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew each year 24-hours before the end of the current period, and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time in your iTunes account settings.

How can I cancel my Sherpa Premium subscription? You can cancel your Sherpa Premium subscription any time. Simply deleting the app off your phone or tablet doesn’t cancel your subscription. On your iPhone/iPad, open the Settings app and tap your name. Then Tap Subscriptions. After this, tap the subscription that you want to manage. Then tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

Fantastic Oslo Grunerlokker Tour

Simply put - Sherpa AR is top notch! I recently had a chance to visit Oslo for a few days and wanted to check some neighborhoods outside of the CBD area and stumbled upon the Grunerlokker Tour. While I normally like to plan sightseeing activities on my own, my time was pretty limited, so this app was a great solution. It took me to a neighborhood that I typically wouldn’t visit on a business trip - and led me to a fantastic food hall, along with a dozen+ other sites and highlights of Grunerlokker. I liked the ability to be able to do either the AR tour or just the GPS/audio tour guide. I’d definitely use Sherpa AR in other cities in the future!

Loving Interesting London!

This is one of the best touring experiences I’ve ever had. The best part was going at my own pace, and clearly understanding our guide, whom I now call Ms. Sherpa. But just as great was learning really interesting details of London’s history while I was being guided around the incredible architecture of Westminster Abbey and fascinating history of Blackfriars. For example, who knew that London was first founded by the Romans?! Or that Henry the VIII became head of the church in England because the Pope refused to grant him permission to....well, I don’t want to give it all away! Really enjoyed it. Thank you, Ms. Sherpa!

So cool and easy to use

Such a great idea for an app. Super informative and a great way to travel on a budget!! It was easy to navigate (pun intended). Can’t believe how many sites and cities they already have tours for!!! Can’t wait to travel to more of them. Thanks for making Sherpa!!
