COMMON ISSUES

Directed to app.singpass.gov.sg when tapping on the QR code during login?

This is due to a delay by iOS at times in retrieving the required configuration file (Apple-App-Site-Association, or AASA in short), which is necessary for QR code tapping (Universal Links) to work.

Here are some workarounds that worked well with other users experiencing the same issue:
• Try again later. Most users reported that iOS managed to retrieve the necessary configuration after some time.
• Restart the phone once (or twice), and wait for a couple minutes for iOS to initialise the Universal Links for the Singpass app (as well as all your other affected apps).
• Uninstall the Singpass app from your device, then download the app again from the official App Store.

I cannot log in from overseas

SingPass doesn’t allow me to use an overseas number to register. I have to retain my Singapore number for this purpose.
When I try to use my SingPass to log in, the OTP is not sent in a timely fashion. It expires within 2 minutes and I don’t receive it until 10 min later.
I cannot log in using the SingPass app. though it can recognize my facial features and identify me.
I am at my wits end as I wish to update my current address.
Please advise what I can do to make the change online possible. Thank you.

App connection to web browser for authentication never works

The process of attempting to go from my mobile phone to reconcile back to the website for Singpass fails every time. When we email support for help it takes us to a library where we can learn how to do exactly what we did. They got us to the place that the connection between the mobile phone and the web browser fails. This is been an issue now for a couple of years and it’s unrecoverable.
