Registered Yamaha outboard owners have access to enhanced features.

With Siren on board, you can see real-time information about your boat at anytime from anywhere, so you never have to wonder if your boat is safe and secure. Connected Boat technology puts your boat in the palm of your hand and gives you the ability to remotely view and monitor your critical systems like battery, bilge, water levels, and more. You can also use our app on your Apple Watch!

Our app allows you to:
• Monitor: Remotely monitor your boat’s battery, bilge activity, water level, temperature, engine performance, fuel consumption and more
• Track: Always know your boat’s exact location and get notified if your boat travels outside a preset security geofence. Create additional polygon geofences to help make sure you don't go into certain areas
• Control: Remotely control lights, refrigeration, A/C, and other systems. Access digital switching right from your smartphone
• Secure: Protect your boat with anti-theft entry motion sensors and audible alarms

To use the Siren features, you'll need to install a Siren Marine Main Device on your boat and download this app. There is a wide variety of both wired & wireless sensors you can add on as well, making your boat even more secure!

In this latest update, we've refined the UI based on valuable customer feedback. Here's what's changed:
- Readjusted Tile Size: We've trimmed down the tile size, offering you a comprehensive overview of the Siren page.
- Expanded Home Info: Home now features additional tiles, and the default boat display is the map view.
- Tile Flashing for Updates: Tiles will now flash to notify you of any updates from the Siren device.
- Updated Sensor Charts: Binary sensor charts have been replaced with an events list for readability.

Unhappy Customer 500 ,

Needs 2FA and I see Frequent Toggling of Lower Mode To Off

This app is lacking 2 Factor Authentication to help secure user accounts. Passwords are not enough. I am seeing some weird behavior of Low Power Mode frequently being toggled off that I intentionally turned On to conserve on battery power. It used to be once a day but is now happening multiple times a day frequently which is frustrating. I at first suspected my account may be compromised but I changed my password and it’s still happening. Low Power mode in the On position should never auto change to Off unless I manually change it myself. I’ve seen similar behavior too when Auto is selected. Auto should stay selected and low power mode should be enabled when the low battery voltage threshold is reached.

A step backward

I agree with previous reviews. The previous iteration of the app was better. I get many, many more false alerts about leaving the Geo fence area. Is obviously false, because the shore power is still attached. This is obviously a fault of the new app, because I only once received that warning under the old app. I hope they can fix this.
The interface overall is just frustratingly laid out. Difficult to find and clear messages, and very non-intuitive in how to negotiate the app overall. Again, much preferred the old iteration.

A big step backward

What were they THINKING?

The previous version of Siren Marine’s app was light years ahead of the new version, and it seems clear that no beta testing has been done on the new version which is klunky and hard to use and unintuitive.

What’s wrong with the new version? Here are a few things that don’t work for me.

No historical data is shown for high water alerts or shorepower alerts, both of which were available on the earlier version. Why was this removed?

The only graphs choices for historical data are 1 hour, 1 day, or 1 week. Why no other choices like 2 weeks or 1 month for longer term comparative tracking?

I have a trawler yacht, but for boat types I cannot choose TRAWLER or write that in. My boat brand, American Tug, is not on the list and I cannot write that in. Why not allow write-ins?

A new app version is supposed to be an improvement. Instead, this one is a big step backward.

You CAN and SHOULD do better, Siren Marine.

Oh, how I miss the old days when Siren Marine was so well run with its small, close-knit team by its founder, Dan Harding. Dan is probably rolling over in his grave over what’s happening with his baby.

R.I.P., Dan. You left us and your company too soon.
