Older App Version Was Better

Having driven during the pandemic, lockdown and up to current time, I have experienced many versions of the app. However the current app version is the worst. I wish we could go back to the free-for-all, the older app was. I left a review last year or so but I must change my review. My reason for the change is rather odd… my house is in a green dot active zone. I have not had a delivery offer since being logged in. I ran and completed the troubleshooting advice that driver chat will give. After completing troubleshooting, I still find myself with not a single delivery. I contacted chat support and was told that I might have to relocate to a different green dot. The nearest is a little over five miles away. I am not going to drive to a new active zone, when my current zone isn’t yielding work. Skipcart, please open the flood gates and let the orders flow. I would even pay a premium, to be able to see orders faster/sooner or to be offered them first. I will pay to work and to use the app. Let’s get something going.

This is really great feedback. The green areas on your map are areas where we have active pickup locations but they are not a guarantee that orders are currently in that spot. Disorganized and Cheap

I hate driving for this company but some days I have no choice. Orders don’t pay much at all. Anywhere from $3-$9. $9 if you’re lucky. In addition to that, you can drive 10-20 min for a delivery which will still be under $10 and more often than not, the order gets cancelled. Then the company only wants to pay you $3 for the cancellation no matter how far you drove to the pickup. On top of the fact that if the order is cancelled, it doesn’t count toward your deliveries for bonus. Not fair. The chat people are rude and have no compassion. It’s also ridiculous you have to wait 24/48 hours to get any bonuses made but if you don’t start driving your car as soon as you have the order on hand, they blow your phone up and threaten to have the order reassigned. Then the bonuses are almost unattainable. You have to do a ridiculous amount of deliveries that can take you 8-12 hours ONLY to make an extra $20 and you probably only made $60 within those 8-12 hours. You’re shown deliveries available but cannot be selected if you’re “outside of delivery territory”. What’s the purpose of making it visible? Then you rush to try to get within the territory and they give the order to someone else. Waste of time. Please do better. Company wonders sends an email asking why I haven’t been driving. This is exactly why!!

Need new partners

I can clearly tell SkipCart gets the overflow of DoorDash (or something but i swear it’s GOTTA be DD) which is why people can be online all day and only get 1/2 deliveries. On the old app you could see if an order was just sitting there, and that’s why the zone would be red. This new app, you can’t see any orders that have just been sitting there, all you see is red so you think it’s super busy- rush to that zone (which is 5mins away) and by time you get there it’s blue again and that ONE order is already taken. Earnings aren’t available to cashout until 4am the following day- and there’s no option to cashout on Mondays cuz anything I’m your SkipCart acct Sunday night by 11:59pm will be automatically deposited into your bank account. SkipCart needs a whole lot more partners. I live in Phoenix AZ. I should be busy all day like i am on GrubHub 🤷🏽‍♀️
