Great app when it works
App is very responsive on iPhone Pro Max renders shots quicker then on my laptop or iPad Pro. Like title says would be great if it worked. Usually twice a week. It gets in some state that as soon as the splash loading screen finishes it crashes. Restarting phone doesn’t help. Wait a day and it’s good. Pretty sure someone needs a try catch around the authentication service call.
Needs to be available on AppleTV. More bug fix releases and refining of the algorithms for accuracy. It may seem I’m not happy I love it just annoyed especially since I have to pay for a subscription I don’t always get to use.
Waste of $$$$
This product and app is terrible! Complete garbage!!! Spent over $3,000 on a set up to use this product including purchasing the WGT yearly subscription to play different courses and can’t even use it because it never connects to Network Mode. I spent over an hour and a half talking with customer service to try and get it to work and the response I get is I need to get a WI-FI extender. That’s bull!!! It’s the software not my internet. I have had two internet providers with the unlimited and fastest internet they offer in the 7 months I have owned this SkyTrak and never have issues with my internet. The router is literally next to the SkyTrak and rarely ever connects. If it does connect it doesn’t register the shots and you spend more time trying to get it to work than you do using it. They did an update around 1 week ago and it connected to network mode for literally 13 holes, stopped working, and since then nothing. Works in Direct Mode but not in Network. Save your $ and purchase a better quality golf simulator. Very Disappointing
Delete App After Using
I too was extremely frustrated the first 2 weeks with the app and Skytrak. Could not get them to sync or even get onto the app. Once I got that figured out then I could not get on the app when starting a new session the next day- app would not recognize my password. So what I do now is delete the app from my iPad after each session and reload for the next. Pretty poor technically for the members to have to go through those kind of hoops for the money paid for the Skytrak. I thought when the Skytrak was offline on Monday, October 12th they would address that for their customers but obviously they don’t care. Try another ball flight/practice tracker. It will save you a lot of irritation with the technical side of the device. Once the device is hooked up and working it is great. That is the reason for the 2 stars. Salvages a zero because with the technical side of the device I would zero the app.
