I was really excited for this product, and it’s beautiful, so I bought it anyway despite the reviews about the app. Now that I’ve tried it for two weeks, I can confidently say the app glitches way too much to modify really any settings once set. The auto-off feature also doesn’t work. My most frequent error message is to “try again later”: a catch-all for any edits I try to make. Unfortunately, I do think the bugs are just too much to make the product consistently usable. I’ll probably need to return it.

The new app update is a game-changer! It’s so much more intuitive than the previous version, making it super easy to adjust the settings based on my schedule.I never realized how much lighting could impact my day until I got the my skyview lamp! As a young professional my sleep schedule was all over the place but this lamp helped me get this under control. The circadian rhythm lighting (which I knew very little about before getting this lamp) helps me wake up feeling more refreshed and stay focused throughout the day. I seem to have more energy - based a better sleeping pattern. This definitely helps me with my 2025 goals of getting healthier and be on top of things.

The app is probably one of the worst that I have ever used. The scheduling functionality is virtually non existent, and completely breaks if you set your bed time to anything after 11:59PM. On top of that, there is no way to manually set the schedule for the light, you can only edit the “auto-on” and “auto-off” times, as well as the sunrise and sunset times. You can’t change the time that it goes from evening (a warm, semi dim light) to night (a very dim red light). If you are going to make an app to control a product that has a schedule with 7 different properties, auto on, sunrise, daytime, sunset, evening, night, and auto off, the user needs to be able to configure the schedule for all 7 of those things, not just 4 out of the 7. Also, there is no way to control the lamp on the fly, you’re pretty much stuck with whatever the schedule gives you. Last thing, I set up two of the lamps with the detailed schedule, and it came back with two different schedules for each lamp. This app is seriously embarrassing. I’ll probably end up returning the product, as there is simply no way to make it work with my schedule, going to bed at 1AM, and waking up at 9AM.

This thing always has issues before/after daylight savings and I have to completely reset it. The developers need to stop trying to get cute and go back to the basics of syncing the time to what the time is on the user’s phone. I even selected my time zone in their settings and it still screws up. Please fix and I’ll give more stars.
