Good Luck

If anyone new is downloading the SNKRS app with the hopes of hitting on a draw or scoring your size for a high demand sneaker, just know it’s not going to happen. I collect and display Jordan’s and 8 months in I am 0-15 on any of the shoes I’ve attempted. I’ve bought 4 pairs for my sister and daughter through app and Nike store purchases, but was only to score two different Jordan 3’s and one Jordan 4 with the help of Dicks Sporting goods through in store reservations. People online and workers through the Nike app will tell you all kinds of tips and tricks to help your chances but no matter what you do the reality is that it won’t help you unless it’s a shoe that won’t sell out or your size doesn’t happen to be as in demand. It’s a ploy for you to use their app more and more with the hope being you will hit one day on a drop. You’re better off knowing that’s not how it will work so don’t have high hope. All resellers or people using bots will continuously win while you lose. Just know that. Try to score big drops through Dicks when they have them because I’m 3 for 3 using Dicks.

Great app… not perfect.

Really enjoy this app. I’ve become a sneaker head and love it when new sneakers dropping. I’m always checking the “upcoming” option to make sure I don’t miss any drops that I would want. Just having the chance to get some new sneakers feels amazing. There’s a few things that the company might want to look into. Like checking for bots, there should be like a questionnaire before you are allowed to buy some shoes. I believe a lot of bots are getting through for not having any questions to combat against the bots. Also would like to have a few more payment options like pay later options. SNKRS is still getting their money at the end of it, it’s the company that does the pay later that will take the hit at the end of it all if customers don’t pay. But I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t mind paying $25-$40 every two weeks rather than having to fork over $130-$230 up front. Also I don’t remember how the whole shock drop works because I don’t really remember having any notifications come from the SNKRS app. I will usually get a notification from another app I use that tells me when shock drops come. I have missed out on a few sneakers before I started using the new sneaker app. Again this is a great app for long living sneaker heads or brand new ones, make sure you keep clicking on that “upcoming” feature for new and upcoming drops.

Bots & large scale advantages taking away from the average consumer and loyal customers

I’ve been a lifer to Nike. 30+ yrs since I was a kid. We use to wait in line all day to get sneakers (new releases) and one per customer. The days of brick and mortar are long gone and I’ve seen outlets allowing vans come in of people who buy thousands worth of sneakers and drive away only to resell them on canal street or Jamaica Ave NY for profit. Taking away the average consumers ability to purchase a new pair for their kids for school or sports. Now with online shopping the SNKRs app use to be a place where you could do that and speed the process. Now you can log on at 9:59 with your finger on the trigger to buy the latest Jordan’s only at 10:00 & 2 seconds to miss out on them because somehow they’re all gone. Poof like a David Blaine show! The same groups of people who drive to outlets in vans somehow steal them all before anyone get a chance then sell them for profit on sites like Kix or Goat. It’s diminished the experience and made for a negative perception by us loyal Nike supporters who got the company where it is today but raining loyal to the brand. Something should be done about this and fight the latest “Ticketmaster “ 3rd party purchase flaw that’s replicated to the sneaker world. The app is great, but this all stinks and leaves a spurt taste in my mouth
