Description
Children must develop the fundamental understanding that letters and sounds work together in systematic ways to form words. This understanding provides the foundation for the development of decoding skills. Word work is an essential component of literacy development. Utilizing sound boxes can help children segment sounds in words, which supports reading and writing.

Ratings and Reviews
Really good just needs sound.
Just because one thing is off this doesn’t deserve one star. I am Orton-Gillingham trained teacher and this is exactly what I have been looking for. Teaching phonemic awareness and decoding is the best way to teach early reading. Just get the sound working and I could see this in a lot of classrooms. Nice work thus far.
Add a few more boxes
I just found this app. I am a home tutor working mostly with dyslexic kids. I can’t wait to use this with my word building lessons. I wold love to see a few more boxes on the top! THANK YOU
Needs sound
How are you supposed to teach phonics without sounds?
