Ratings and Reviews
Fun! However..
The game itself is very fun. It’s very engaging and keeps you busy for long periods of time. It really has some potential! Though, it has quite a few glitches and problems. Most are small, such as getting stuck in shelves for a moment when speeding up time, or getting stuck while waving to a customer for just a moment and spinning in place. Despite this, there is a massive glitch that has happened to multiple people on different devices. In the L&G department on the day of the delivery truck, you can no longer assign any of your associates to do things and there are four icons at the bottom with the same photo of a girl saying that she is performing the same task. There is no fix I have found, resetting does not fix nor does deleting and re-downloading, so I cannot progress and have stopped playing for the time being.
It’s just ok.
I like it. But I’m on Week 6 and I’m still the L&G DM. That’s silly. I don’t know why I would go from grocery DM to L&G DM? I like it so far, but there needs to be a little bit more to it. Also, when scanning overstock in the backroom, it’s not entirely accurate on when you need to investigate overstock. I’m an assistant manager at Walmart and if an item has a total on hand of 20, there is 5 already binned in, shelf cap is set to 5 and case quantity is 10. That would mean there is a case of 10 right in front of me and an assumed amount of 5 on the shelf, which is the max the shelf will hold. Why would I need to investigate the overstock? It always counts me off as lost sales because I chose to bin it. Also, we have topstock now. So essentially, it should go out on topstock instead of binning it. And if I’m doing section work and filling outs on each aisle without a cart of freight present, that would mean that this store in the game DOES in fact, have topstock. But what do I know?
Welcome to a crash course of what doesn’t happen at Walmart
This game is the expectation but in reality you would never be able to finish all of your tasks with 2 hours to spare because in real life they pull the dms to go work in other areas of the store to make help those dms out. But other then that is pretty realistic as far as working at Walmart goes. My only complaint is how can you stop shoplifters while you are on the force lunch break or during the time your are completing the task you can’t stop it to prevent it. Also I have my sales at +10% and my CFF score is at 102% I don’t think they can go any higher. But my OSCA score will not budge from 98%. I don’t understand why it won’t go higher when I complete all tasks and make the right decisions with 2 hours to spare. Anyone know how?
