It is a very simple app, but it periodically announces the time via voice. You can check the time using the volume buttons without waking up fully or turning on the lights in the middle of the night. ・Continues to operate in the background or while the device is locked. ・Includes a pedometer function; periodically announces step count and distance along with the time. ・Includes an alarm function; can be used as a backup alarm clock. ・Integrates with your iPhone calendar to announce upcoming schedule details for the next 72 hours. ・Announces weather information for your selected location. ・Supports approximately 30 languages. ・Supports time zones for over 200 cities worldwide.

Fixed an issue where the time could not be announced at scheduled intervals when using a language that employs non-standard numeral characters (such as Arabic) incompatible with standard integer conversion. Fixed other minor issues. ・Accesses "Calendar" to announce upcoming schedule events; please grant permission upon initial launch. ・Accesses GPS to announce local weather information; please grant permission upon initial launch. You can also grant these permissions via Settings > Apps > SpeakingClock.
