We’re unleashing our inner starship captain in this epic simulation game that puts players in charge of Star Command’s newest vessel. With hilarious, self-aware satire and surprisingly deep tactical gameplay, this long-awaited adventure is a must-play for any sci-fi fan and a love letter to all things Star Trek.

Im going to start off this review with the basics- Star Command is the best space themed RPG/simulation game you'll find in the App Store that is truly great. It offers the ability to build your own ship (which you can do in many diverse ways), it lets you have diverse strategic battles based on what rooms you built in your ship, it has beautiful, absolutely stunning pixelated graphics, a good sense of humor, and easy controls. The flaw in Star Command though, is the fact that it has flaws. First off, even though you can change the conversation in cutscenes with aliens, the final outcome is always the same. Most conversations will end in a battle. It would be nice to actually have aliens who would like to trade or offer you alien slaves or sell you upgrades. The second flaw is the ridiculously short story. In about three hours, I found myself doing mission one again, and I was actually confused why that was so until I realized I had beaten the game. There is a lot of replayability, thankfully. There is different ships and difficulties to choose from. Anyhow, I appreciate that the developer has come to produce this amazing (short) game, despite everything else. I think its Kickstarter started back in 2011? And I am not sure but I think the dev consists of one or two people. It amazes me that one or two people can produce this. It would be nice to have an update, although I don't see one coming soon. I planned on giving it three stars, but seeing as I have played and enjoyed this and the game costs three dollars, I leave it at four. For now.
Amazing - Must Get!
an awesome game!
Star Command is the best space RPG I have ever played. Having played this game since release, I know exactly how much fun you can have with this game. I played through the whole game in "Black Whole" mode, witch took me an insanely long time to complete. This game is not perfect however. Since release, it has not received an update, and the StarCom Guide app has nothing to say about it. I think that this game has a lot of potential to get better because the base is already there. The larger rooms can have as many people as the small ones witch is a problem. Also, the player cannot invade the enemy's ship and they can invade yours. You cannot see into the enemy ship and control your ship to target the enemy ship's crew. But, I think think this game has AMAZING music. I and other gamers out there know, and we really do know that good music makes a good game great. Overall, this game has a GREAT and ENGAGING storyline that is easy to follow. I absolutely LOVE the design of the ships and their upgrades and abilities. The idea is great, and could possibly become one of the most popular mobile games around. The one problem is that the game doesn't seem to be going anywhere, as it has not received an update even after several e-mails I have sent to contact the devs with new ideas and feed back. Great job devs, and thanks for creating such an amazing game that I have put so many hours into.-Cal
A remarkable game

I'm truly glad I bought this game. It's by far one of the most fun and addicting iOS games I've played and is aTrue testament to the drive and creativity of indie game makers. With my busy schedule I find it hard to find time to play my PC or other devices, as I look through the App Store many games or looking for a quick buck, or just don't match my taste. So when I saw star command I was truly happy. It did not worry about top notch graphics, or have a major game company creator. They promised a adventure and that's all I wanted. As I get into the game I'm pleasantly surprised by the fluid controls, the complexity of running a battleship made do-able on a iPhone. As i get started on my adventure I find myself laughing at the comments my ship captain makes to hostile alien species. Befriending people and making mortal enemies I must say I was rather happy when I eradicated a alien battle cruiser proving my superiority to those who find me to be a "lesser being." But within a a day or so I reach the end of my main story and find myself wanting more. I decide to play again this time limiting myself and playing on a new difficulty, I was surprised by the ruthless onslaught of aliens I had to fight, and still found myself enjoying the game. I have had this game for a few months now and I have not had any other game on my phone since I bought it. It is simply amazing, I have so much fun every time I play and I look forward to the future of the game and what is in the works. I'm glad to partake in this adventure and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.-"Captain" Battleshrimp of the "Less Crowded Blue Sea"
