Startpage is back!
The original Startpage iOS App just up and disappeared one day and now it’s back and appears to be even better than before!
Up until recently I was using the Startpage search engine in a privacy browser app that rhymes with Dave. Unfortunately the “Dave” app has turned into to the opposite of a privacy browser. Luckily while using the Startpage search engine in “Dave” privacy browser app last week a banner for the new Startpage app appeared.
I was at the point of limiting web browsing on my iPhone for privacy reasons but now I feel much safer using my phone to browse the internet.
Startpage for privacy!
Been using Startpage on the web for a long time and they have always had the best search results in a completely private environment. I mean, these guys have servers in the Netherlands to make sure it is even more private than anyone!
Been waiting for an app for ages and stoked to finally have it - fast, great results, and totally private.
Love not being tracked by big tech and not being used to train AI models - my data is mine!!
