This thing is also a work of art. It is a sound maker's dream tool. It's very cool that the designer gives such credit to John Chowning and Max Matthews (look them up if you are not familiar.) Hours and hours of very original sounds come out of this. Ps. I'm not affiliated with apeSoft in any way. Even if they wanted to pay me to write these reviews i would turn down the offer. ( not vst versions!)Edit: made a comparison to iPulsaret but i was thinking iDensity not Stria. 2 years later i am still impressed.

The range of sounds along with the ability to modulate endlessly makes this a fantastic playground of sound. If you love soundscapes, this is for you! It takes some time to learn but there is a fine tutorial from Gavinski. And it is ridiculously inexpensive for what you get.
Unmatched granular performer even in 2025

My biggest regret in iOS music production, has been sleeping on Apesoft, Amazing Noises incredible offerings. They have always been next level. I personally believe that spectral/spatial audio is the future of entertainment, like when stereo was first introduced. Had I understood sooner, I could have been mastered these apps, here I am discovering decade old software that still outperforms the most expensive granular scrubbers.It's stupidly incredible
