I feel like something happened when social media and the internet boomed. We got in over our heads, in excitement, we rushed in and crashed. Now, there are those of us who don’t want to delete the internet and social media but rather want a chance to do it RIGHT this time, or at least thats my first impression, I just joined the end of 2025, time will tell what it is and with time what it will become.

I've been a fan of Con Schultz's journalism and creative writing since I read her first paragraph back in the 1980s. After Stella career at the Plain Dealer of Cleveland winning a Pulitzer Prize and becoming nationally syndicated, I can count finding Colonels of Komp as well as wisdom and every pace she has penned. How lucky for those of us on Substack to have HER Voice right at our fingertips. Today's Favorite quote,"Gardening is always an act of hope."

I saw the live interview on Reese's Book Club with Emma Brodie and Clare Leslie Hall which I loved. I have some feedback with the video format. It did not allow me to watch the video full screen without comments. The comments were displayed on the bottom half of the author’s face which was distracting. Also, I felt that the moderator should have been at the bottom while the author being featured on the upper half of the video. Otherwise, audio and clarity was really good.

I absolutely love Substack. I think if anyone wants to spend any amount of their time it should be on Substack. It’s full of intellectual people, who are either encouraging you to do better for yourself or sharing with you how they do better for themselves. Every time I’m on Substack I feel motivated, content, and very much at peace. Would recommend for pretty much anybody! Especially if you love to read.
