Now import your full hiking history from AllTrails or Strava — every summit, route, and photo, kept private on your phone. No account, no cloud, no ads.
Summit & Back Again is a hiking and peak-bagging companion built for Southern California's mountains — and for hikers who want to own their adventures, not rent them.
No account. No cloud. No ads. Everything lives on your phone.
CHASE THE PEAKS
Track all 29 of Southern California's 10,000-foot summits and the SoCal Six-Pack of Peaks challenge. Summits are detected automatically when you reach the top — no button to press, no signal required.
RECORD EVERY HIKE
Start a recording, lock your phone, and hike. GPS tracking captures your route, distance, and accurate elevation gain and loss, even deep in the backcountry with no cell service.
BRING YOUR HISTORY WITH YOU
Switching from AllTrails or Strava? Import your entire hiking history from a GPX export — routes, summits, elevation, and photos, all matched to the right hike and pinned on the map. Years of adventures, finally in one place you control.
SEE WHERE YOU STOOD
Topographic and trail map layers, satellite imagery, your recorded routes drawn on the map, and your photos pinned exactly where you took them.
EARN IT
Unlock achievements as you climb — summit milestones, elevation goals, your first fourteener. Track your totals, your progress, and every peak you've bagged.
