Sunrise Fasting integrates with the Health app to sync your weight data.

Sunrise Fasting+ is an optional subscription. Sunrise Fasting+ grants you access to premium features like trends/insights, scheduling fasts, and fast presets. It also removes in-app advertisements. Your subscription will automatically renew if not canceled.

Love this app! Close to perfect

I really like using this app for my 18:6 fast every day, and for sunrise->sunset fasting every March. It’s simple, clear, and I like seeing the history of my Fasts. There are just a few things I would change about the interface: - The Apple Watch complication is TOO TINY. It should use the biggest numerals that will fit. - The Apple Watch complication, the Home Screen widget, and the Live Activity should not be displaying seconds. I never care about seconds during a long fast, just hours and minutes. It takes up needless space and creates motion on the display that’s not useful. - The Live Activity bar is too wide. It stretches all the across the phone, blocking the time, but displays almost no information (90% of the bar is just black). Also, it makes accidental tapping on the bar far too easy. I finally had to disable Live Activities for this app because of this.

Update: Thanks to the developers for the prompt feedback! That’s always a very good sign a worthwhile app. Been loving it so far.

There are some limitations Apple puts on what/how apps can display data, especially for watchOS complications and iOS widgets. But we will consider your points and try to implement if it is at all possible. Look for them potentially in a future update!

Nice Fast Tracker!


I’ve been using this app for several months now... this is THE BEST fasting tracker app that I have ever come across! The diverse types of fasts to possibly track here is just wonderful. It’s also SO CONSISTENT!

I enjoy being reminded when I am halfway through a fast, and then when I’m only 1 hour before completing it. Though I enjoy fasting, I also enjoy eating too! So these little reminds are amazing for mere perseverance sake!

Being able to add previous fasts, and also track a fast that you have already started are both great features!

Thanks for this app guys. Perhaps even add a paid version; I’d love to support you guys in that way if you came out with one.

It’s amazing how hard it was to find a fasting app that offered a basic Full Day fast... some people may want to do such a thing for spiritual reasons. And while I do implement intermittent fasting from time to time... the ability to also track Full Day fasts for spiritual reasons, all in one app, is lovely. Thanks!

The last four hours are the toughest

I’ve been using this simple, but effective fasting app for three or four years now. I do a 24 hour fast every week and I like the simplicity of the fast and even though I know when I started and I’ll know when a full 24 hours has passed, there’s something about checking how many hours are left that helps me get through it.
