Critical Acclaim

* “Through a combination of a choose-your-own-adventure-style visual novel and a Paradox-esque game, you have to pull the young republic out of a terrible recession while dealing with entrenched, corrupt political factions and a looming border conflict.” - PC Gamer

* “The press will lie. Parliament will ask you to sign bills with misleading titles. The people will inspire a song called "My Electorate Are Stupid Pigs". Your principles may be your strongest weapon or your downfall. This is politics. This is Suzerain.” - Rock Paper Shotgun

Really quite well made

I have been enjoying this time killer the past few days, after developing the nation successfully (in whichever way you desire, be it fascist, communist, or somewhere in the middle) the replay value really drops off. It is a short game but absolutely packed with engaging content and several different paths to choose. Only complaints I have are that its too short and the map is quite small, after winning a second term I was extremely eager to continue developing, only to learn that you will only ever play 1 term. Regardless I enjoyed it despite having to rush through lots of text for every play-through after the first.

4 bucks is cheap, if you are political or if you enjoy paradox games and similar genres, try this out.

THE BEST POLITICAL SIMULATION EVER, PLAY THIS GAME NOW‼️‼️

Suzerain is definitely my favorite political game. The storytelling is amazing, the characters and their backgrounds are amazing. NINE DIFFERENT ENDINGS. That is impressive. If I will be honest, in my first try I did not win the re-election, but in my second run, I was able to be victorious.

This game has wonderful gameplay mechanics and I highly recommend it. You do have to pay $4 for it, but it is definitely worth it. A one time purchase that lasts forever. The customization of Mr. President Anton Rayne, making promises, signing and vetoing bills, making and defining relationships. The plot twists are awesome, rest assured, there are no spoilers in this.

I absolutely cannot wait for 2.0 to release and I am excited for the new DLC based on a King in a kingdom in Merkopa. I have extremely high hopes and expectations for the 2.0 “Amendment” update and the DLC, I know for sure that they will be even bigger and better.

It genuinely makes me feel like I am the president of a country and I can’t wait to see where President Anton Rayne goes in the new update, I hope it will begin right after where you end at Chapter 4.

The only con of this game is that you cannot make saves, so you’ll have to be careful with making your decisions… Luckily, this new update will fix that.

A Morgna Wes Core!! Vectern sis da!!

War

The war with Rumburg with the new updates is impossible to win, I tried every ally, every strategy, every economy and immigration, every decision that leads up to the war, only way to not go to war is if you ally with a super power, you can’t offer trade or peace because then iosef coups you, this needs to get fixed, the old game allowed you to win, all those vids I saw they won, and there 3 years old, I even did what they did the best I could do, but no I still lose, this needs fixed, the war is unbeatable, no matter what strategy or generals, you lose, it’s still a greet game but, the unwinnable war is making it unplayable, fix it or atleast make it easier, for the sake of the players and long term players, I beat this game more then 13 times, can’t win the war or get unleashed from the coup, iosef only accepts you if you retaliate, not even all the time, please.
