Great , but Please Change One Thing!

App is fine, had no strong opinions about it until a recent update, which is what is prompting this review. Please, if you care about your users, PLEASE turn off the auto-start on timed exercises!! For one thing, I just don’t switch between exercises that fast, but it also doesn’t let you watch the how-to video when you turn your phone sideways if the exercise is paused. I am absolutely fine with having to tap a button to start the timer, please switch it back.

Frustratingly incomplete

I’ve tried workouts to see what it offered but the transition from on exercise to the next is non existent without input. Don’t get me started on weighted equipment as set are not tracked at all. I could list 30 sets of an exercise and click done and it records it as I’ve done the work. No way to do a set record it the do the next and record it with the timed break to show countdown in between till the next set of said exercise. Doesn’t list all the Techno equipment in the list to choose from. Yes you can log into equipment. But it does record data back to Apple health for the type of workout you’re doing. You’re better off if an Apple user using the Apple Watch To connect to the equipment if you are data driven to see how your performance is improving. I’ll keep the app but won’t be using it to log exercise data. Maybe it’ll improve.

Connectivity Issue with MyRun Treadmill

Update:“I previously reported an issue with the app disconnecting from the Technogym MyRun treadmill. I followed up via email as instructed, and was told the issue would be investigated and I would receive a response. However, it’s been about three weeks, and I have not received any follow-up or resolution. Due to this, I’ve canceled my monthly subscription, as I’m dissatisfied with the service and the lack of support. I hope this issue can be addressed soon.”————————-I’m using the Technogym MyRun treadmill and the app on my iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 18.2.1. Unfortunately, the app disconnects from the treadmill after a few seconds of connection, making it impossible to continue the workout. This greatly affects the user experience. Please address this issue in future updates. Thank you for your efforts!

I can’t believe this app doesn’t sync with Apple Health. Also I find it annoying that every time I leave the app temporarily to say change a song or check literally anything in another app, the timer on my workout pauses. I think there should be a way to have the option to let the timer continue in the background, if possible. Otherwise, you’re sort of just left awkwardly twiddling your thumbs between reps. I like the look and feel of the app though
