I honestly believe this is a good app for many tenants to use to make their rent payments and not have to worry about a money order or this and that. Simple payment plus processing fee but it gives you the option for bank ACH or Card. Btw, card fee is higher, but manageable.

1. I just wanted to thank Leah for her patience today 8/1/24 during my frantic call about a recent transaction. She is truly a 5-star customer service employee and I’m so sorry for raising my voice.

2. The only reason I am giving 4 stars to this review is because of what led to my issue today. A previous review mentioned this being a UX problem and I agree. Today, I was being defaulted to pay with Apple Pay when I have only ever paid with my linked bank account. Without thinking too much about it, I assumed it would deduct the money like it normally would since it promoted me to use Apple Pay and I was unaware there would be an additional fee quite literally as large as my cell phone/ WiFi bill to process the transaction. If there was a mention of this somewhere I completely missed it. Regardless, it was very shocking for me to see the additional amount being deducted on top of my rent payment.

3. On a side note, the general UI of the app is intuitive and easy to navigate. It has everything a user needs and nothing more to clutter the view. Good job.

2. Please note, that the transaction fee amount is added just below the total amount on the Checkout page, it says: "Stripe fees for credit or debit card will apply". However, we understand it's not quite obvious and will work on some improvement here.

I used the app for the first time after using the website for 4 years. The website clearly shows the fees and makes things understandable when you are paying your rent. The app does not and does not show the fees with the total. Because of this I paid $50 in merchant fees after paying on the app the first time I downloaded it. The interface was confusing and did not display any fees or inform it was applying the card merchant fees it just seemed like the normal taxes applied. I thought it was defaulting to my bank as per usual and I lost $50 I do not have to lose.

Hello and thank you for your feedback! As a rule, the total in the app will include the fees, however, there's an exception when you're paying with Apple Pay which is a default payment method. In this case, we cannot calculate the fee as we do not know the type of card (debit, credit, or other) saved in your Apple Pay. We display information that the processing fees will apply but we will think of a better wording to make things more understandable.
