The Container Store 4+

I saw that the container store now takes after pay on the website, but no button or link on the site. Also, Afterpay’s website has a container store link with no Afterpay option. I found a reference to Afterpay with a link to download the Container Store app, and the Afterpay only works with this app. It took hours to find this out and it should say so on the website or have a direct link. Other then that no issues with my order as of yet.

I have had Elfa products for 40+ years, and have moved most of them as much as 4 times. I’ve been happy with store service, installation,support, contactless pickup, ship to home. What has annoyed me is online shopping - not the concept, the mechanics. It is not intuitive to find what I’m looking for, even if I’m only searching Elfa. With the app there seems to be endless scrolling, the setup is for the phone, not the tablet, and I can’t seem to avoid refining the search at least twice. Then I get to checkout, and suddenly there are items unavailable that I must discontinue. I have to search them out (not simple), figure out if ANY are available if I ordered a multiple, then decide if I want the rest of my order. Why can’t I find this out when I first select the item? And why can’t I get info as to when the item will be restocked without launching a separate inquiry? This might be possible with the website on the PC, but not in my Elfa closet on the tablet. Wishlist it is, I suppose.

The browse experience is really cumbersome. Pages take a while to load. It’s not easy to save something for review later. I can’t figure out how to share the item I’m looking at with my wife other than saving it and showing her—I can’t share a link, or it isn’t obvious how. Also feels like there are a lot of unnecessary screens involved to create lists—it makes the list feature a pain to use even if I want to use it to create ideas for different rooms in the house. The sorting and filtering is very unimpressive. One nice thing is not specific to the app but I’ll mention it anyway—big win with the kelce garage. Wholesome family content and super relatable.
