This is one if the best apps on Shopify! The chat feature works flawlessly and the automation bots are too cool! I’m still on the trial plan and set up a few automation bots that trigger a customers question along with giving them a few options when I’m not online. With a Shopify store there are a few that are setup for you. You just activate or you can create your own. Easy to setup and they provide a extensive ebook with suggestions, how to step by steps with screen shots. It looks like once you are out if the paid plans you will be charged according to automation bots accessed by visitors. I will update my review after getting on a paid plan and using for a month. Oh and support is awesome! They respond in their chat but also send a email asking if you need help setting up. Very responsive. I highly recommend trying the app to see if you love it as much as I do.
Best app ever!
I’ve been building WordPress sites for many years. I use all sorts of plugins, both free and paid. I needed a free live chat feature and tried a few other plugins. They sucked. Then I tried Tidio. From the ease of use on my site, to the customizable options, along with the app this is thee best integration I’ve seen in years. I had a question and their customer service got back to me in less than an hour. I was in awe. I hope Tidio continues to be free with the same level of support and usability they have now. If you need a live chat feature on your website this is the best free one out there.
In the beginning I really liked this app however I kept noticing that I would not receive notifications on my mobile device. I would open the application and leave it on in the background and sometimes I would get chat notifications from customers but other times I would not. This is become a frustrating thing as I have a lot of missed chats and unhappy customers because I’m not answering. I would have to open the app and refreshing to see if there’s any shots or messages. I should not have to do this.
I’ve contacted support and every time they run a test it works, but when I have a customer on the site I don’t always get the notification. I will be looking for a different chat application to use on my website.
