Race against the clock to complete a sliding tile puzzle.

• Four difficulty levels/puzzle sizes, suitable for all ages and skill levels (larger sizes require an in-app purchase).
• Play with classic numbered tiles, or use images from your photo library.
• For an extra challenge, enable the Flip Pieces setting so pieces can be flipped over.
• Turn off the timer for a more leisurely game!

Tile Slider is available for Mac and iOS. It is free to download and play 3×3 and 4×4 puzzles. A single in-app purchase unlocks 5×5 and 6×6 puzzles on both platforms.

• Updated for macOS 11 and Apple Silicon.

If you enjoy using Tile Slider, please rate or review it in the App Store, or recommend it to family, friends and colleagues. Please also consider paying for the larger puzzle sizes. This makes a huge difference to me and the future of the app.

Like the 15-puzzle

Sam Lloyd promoted the 15-puzzle in the 1880’s and I’m glad it’s still around today. I’ve tried several versions but I just might stick with this one. I was only able to find it in the App Store after searching for “sliding tile puzzle”. I didn’t see it when I searched for “15 puzzle”.

I like how the color changes when a piece is in the correct location. I like the 5x5 and 6x6 versions.

Nice job, Geoff.

Good But Missing A Feature

Works just like you'd expect, and I like how you can use a picture from your phone. The UI is a little drab to look at, but it works. The real thing that bothers me is that the only way to move pieces is by tapping and dragging the tiles far enough, then letting go. I'm used to slider puzzels being usable simply by clicking, or in this case tapping. This works because the pieces can only move in one direction at any time. Since the only goal is to improve your time, I'd like to be able to do so with quick and accurate taps instead of rubbing the screen.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the suggestion. v1.11 adds the ability to tap a piece to move it into the space. As with swiping, multiple pieces can be moved at once.

Great app, just works

Very clean and straight forward. All the updates just continue to drive to make it as minimal as possible. Things like removing the ads or resetting the board is as easy as holding your finger on it till it resets for the next game. Great job keep it up.
