Did you lose track of your time again? We can help you out. With a single tap, track and save your time with Toggl - anywhere you go.
Or maybe you don't really want to use the pesky phone keyboard - we get that. That's why you can now use Siri to track your time with Toggl - no keyboard needed! (This feature requires iOS 12 however)
Toggl also has you covered across all of your devices! Start tracking your hours in a browser, then stop it later on your phone - all of your tracked time is safely synced between your phone, desktop, web & a browser extension (if you want more of a pomodoro timer experience).
Discover what's taking up your time with summary reports. Analyze them in the app or export them to send that data to your clients (or to analyze it further with through business intelligence and see to where your hours are going).
Based on your habits and previous time entries, the app will give you suggestions on what you could track.
Toggl is now compatible with Siri! Start a new time entry, stop it, or access your reports - all that with just a few words. We will be updating our app with more cool shortcuts for the Siri & Toggl duo in the coming months.
By using @ and #, you can quickly add projects and tags to your time entry and get back to work right away!
With the calendar integration, you can now use Toggl to see all of your calendar events and time entries in the app itself (in the same view), receive notifications before the events start, and most importantly, instantly create time entries based on your calendar events!
» Customize your time entries with projects, clients and tags
Organize and add more details to your time entries by adding projects, clients and tags. Clearly see where your work hours go and adjust your precious time & routines accordingly.
Easily find your older time entries and start tracking them again.
» Manual Mode
Want more control? Add and edit all of your time manually and make sure that every second of your time is accounted for. This feature is optional and it's accessible from the Settings menu.
Keeps your time seamlessly synced, safe and ready to track on your account, on any device.
- But what if I'm offline?
No problem! You can still track your time through the app, and once you're back online, it will sync seamlessly with your account (and the rest of your devices) - your time is not going anywhere.
- Is the app free?
Yes, Toggl on iOS is completely free for you to use.
- Can I send you some feedback?
You betcha (and we'd love to hear from you)! You can send us feedback directly from the app - look for the 'Submit Feedback' in the Settings menu.

Simple Productivity Tracker
The free version provides great multi-platform use for someone like me who doesn’t own a freelancing business and, as such, doesn’t need the capability to export billing documents or whatever to receive pay. I just use it to track how much time I spend studying, completing homework, and writing reports for each of my classes so that I have an overview and graph of what subjects I focus the most on. Seeing the numbers of hours worked on each subject helps motivate me to continue to keep my bar graphs high, and the timer function is much easier than imputing your own time into something like Google Sheets if you want to see graphs of your productivity.
The ease of use is superb and simplicity of the app’s aesthetics is pleasing to the eye as well. It doesn’t look cheesy and that’s another big plus. There are also browser extensions and desktop applications for people who want to track their time offline. And the app itself also helps you track your workflow without a connection, then syncs when you’re connected to the internet. A+ job!
Incredible! But keep it simple.
I started using Toggl six months ago and it is such a fantastic addition to my life. I'm such a data-driven human, so seeing charts, graphs, and statistics on my everyday life is so powerful. I have improved my time management skills, motivation, and have been able to more accurately communicate how I spend my working hours. I use it both at the office and at home. I recommend to absolutely everyone who will listen.
My only advice is to keep it simple. I began trying to write a little description for each project and session and I became frustrated and considered not using Toggl at all. But then I switched to limiting my projects to broad categories like "To-Do List", "Email", and "Exercise". Greatest decision ever. Since making that change, I have used it everyday as though it was second-nature.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, every such positive experience we hear about makes our team's day :) Happy toggling!
Great cross-device integration, dependable
I’ve been using the free level for several years to assist with timekeeping for my solo law practice. I’ve never had a problem with reliability or stability (data loss or system outage). It syncs across my devices with little to no lag and the web summaries are great for pulling the data together. My only compliant is that the monthly summaries can’t be sorted by client and then tag, so I have to keep using typed descriptions for my time entries in order to get convenient, cumulative totals of each time category per client at the end of the month. Still, the descriptions autocomplete based on earlier entries so it isn’t that onerous. It also seems like there might be a solution to this in the monthly subscription service; the inconvenience just hasn’t warranted that level of expense for me.

We are working on improving the app so I'll pass this onto the team so that they can take this into consideration. But thank you for your extremely kind review!
