I CAN NOT get rid of this application on my MacBook Air and the “files” that are attached somehow…. When it should be through just the App Store side. Not finder files. Anyways I need help getting rid of the associated files that it won’t let me delete due to it saying I don’t have permission and/or its still in use…..

Next, you need to open your "Applications" folder, and then move the "Turn Off the Light for Safari" to your trash icon. And then empty your trash icon.
