Description

This is an app to update the firmware of your HEXAMOVE PRO and HEXAMOVE LITE.

To update the firmware, press the earphones' model name appeared on the screen, press 'Update', and then, press 'Install Now.'
It will take a few minutes to complete the update.

MAKE SURE TO UPDATE! Update fixes sound

Was disappointed with the volume of the V-moda Hexamoves and so I was hoping with connecting through the app, the firmware update would tweak the sound… AND IT DOES! The volume finally goes up further and the bass hits hard with nice crisp sounds like what I expect from V-mods products.

Issue is took a long time and hoops to get the earbuds update as the app doesn’t have instructions to properly connect the hexamoves and when I go online the instructions aren’t as clear and easy as they should be. When I figured it out, after the download there was a error where it was stuck validating the installation and I had to restart the process.

Disconnect the hexamoves from your device completely, make sure to click “FORGET DEVICE” so they don’t recognize your device yet.
Reset earbuds buy placing them in charging case and hold down back button until green lights blink.
Now open the V-mods Hexamove App (Reset App for a couple seconds and then re open), now you can take the earbuds out and click the back button on case to pair them through the App instead of through the settings on your iPhone. Click pair and then you should be able to click update.

Make sure to stay on the app and keep the screen turned on or you might get stuck frozen updating on “validating”

If there is an abort error before updating. Then reset app and try again, repeat process.

It works.

This app is very basic. It'll work, but the headphones/bud need to be paired with the app first and not the phone.

If you have issues, try this:
1. Go into Bluetooth and tap on "Forget this device."
2. Reinstall VMODA app
3. Put buds back into case and take them out again
or
3. Turn off headphones and turn back on into pairing mode
4. Open app and let it search for your device
5. It should now stop the eternal circle loading and your device will appear on the app.

I don't like the lack of features but it does exactly what is advertised.

Issues resolved

This firmware update fixed the connectivity issues I was having. Earbuds are working now.
