Roland Piano App 4+

I think I accidentally deleted my old review but the developers responded to my concern about there being no support for the FP range of pianos on the new Roland Piano app.
My review basically stated that people spent good money on these pianos. I spent $600 on my FP-30 to not receive support three years later, I can’t imagine how FP-90 owners feel having spent near $2000 to own hardware that is no longer supported a couple years later.
I also said that I think this app looks great and feels great, much better than the Piano Partner 2 app.
I am grateful that Roland responded to my review. They said: "Hello. First, thank you for the kind words about the app. We hear your feedback about adding support for the FP series and we are working expand the compatibility of the app with more models in the months to come. Thanks!"
When they follow through with adding support for the FP range, I will feel a lot better about Roland, but for now I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I appreciate Roland responding to the community and promising to follow through, but am still disappointed because adding support for the FP range of pianos is something they should’ve done in the first place.

I can connect the piano from my iPad, but I always get “we found no pianos” from iPhone. I have already disconnected on iPad, close all apps, turn off and turn on Bluetooth, doesn’t work.

I think I found the root cause for the issue I met. The app cannot really disconnect from piano, after you disconnect in the app, the MIDI device is still connected in the Bluetooth list. And piano will connect to the existing device automatically after reboot which make it hard to connect to new device.

I found another issue, I just updated my piano 1 hour ago , but the app prompts message said my piano is not running on latest system version😓, there is no new version on Roland’s website.

I tried the app support link but it just took me to the knowledge base and there nothing there that helps. I had a Roland account which works on their website but it will not let me login with the same information in the app. The app seems nice enough but it will not let me use my Roland account. Update. It finally let me login and I subscribed to their “cloud”. But it will not let me access any of those features. It asks me to subscribe and when I try it says I’m already subscribed. They developer responded at some point and asked to contact them on the website which I already tried doing but their contact form doesn’t work. Update update… the developer asked if I saw a login screen with the link they sent. I did login and to use that form it requires a registered product and there’s nothing in the drop down to choose from and it won’t let me submit the form without that field filled in. I tried to register the product but it doesn’t recognize my model number so I can’t do that either.

The link I sent you should have take you to login screen. Once there you can create a ticket through our customer support portal. Do you see the login screen?
