The camera itself is ok for $36+ tax but this app is complete crap.

Pros: easy to navigate control options. Picture in daylight is better than expected for $36. Sound is good when it works.

Cons: set up is a nightmare. Says camera is offline when it’s not. Live picture lags as does sound. Sound often goes out stating that “no audio received” or something like that. Clicking off app to do something else is as good as closing it. Motion detection doesn’t work. More than once to get the app to show picture I’ve had to put my phone on airplane mode for a hot second then turn it off and then open the app again to get it to work. Night vision is a complete lie (this may be a fault with the camera itself. But turn the lights out and you’ll see nothing.)

I’ve not tried to record or take pictures yet so can’t say much about that.

I am using this for few days. The video recording is good but the app doesn’t have all the required options. For example the cam records all the videos for every 5 mins regardless of motion detection or not. If we have the option to record only when motion detected that will save lots of space. I also request if you can add the duration of recording from the app. The also needs an option to delete any videos from app itself.

Why can I not connect the camera to my home WiFi? It continuously says connection failed. However, when I am on my mobile device and I go to my Wi-Fi settings I am able to connect to the camera from my phone. The only way I can view the video from the camera is if my phone and the camera is on the same Wi-Fi network. This means if I leave my home with my phone I cannot see what is taking place in front of the camera. There is no remote viewing allowed this way. Please troubleshoot the issue being able to connect to my home Wi-Fi. Im majorly disappointed.
