Just wondering....

I'm trying to figure out this thing. Does this thing actually measure steps or does it use the phone's location info? It doesn't seem to keep a log so I have to send myself a screenshot to keep track of day to day before midnight when it resets to zero. I did have a problem with charging at first because it was hard to tell if it was put in the charger right. When I could see the moving battery bars I knew it was right. I don't remember how long the full charge took. I'm also wondering how it knows when I'm sleeping. I like it enough to look for one that measures heart rates.

Charging? Done?

I just got this today from Target for $10. I was only needing a watch to tell time but I saw this for only $10 and thought, why not? The only thing that I don’t like is that it’s been charging for about 45 mins now and when I uncharge it, it goes off “bye bye” how long does it take this thing to charge? I know for sure it doesn’t have to be fully charged to work because I connected it to my Bluetooth already. That was really easy. For those having trouble, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.... I saw one review stating that it tells you your text messages. I don’t think that that is true but I will update when it actually is done charging 12 months from now 🙄 Another thing, it has an option to shake for a selfie (inside the app only) that’s actually pretty neat and the picture quality is just like an iPhone. Just won’t have portrait mode. The app itself seems to work just fine. It also has alarms and vibrate. That’s really cool. I’m hoping that this actually works and last for a while. Fingers crossed.

Works Great For a $10 Watch

Obviously you’re limited to what you can do on this watch compared to more expensive watches. I just needed a watch to tell time and vibrate when I get texts. I had no issues when connecting. Just follow the steps. Doesn’t vibrate too loud, so it’s perfect in a quiet class. “Shake to selfie” seems to only work when you open the camera function in this app and not for iPhone camera app.

In the long run, for only $10, I’m very happy with what I got. I recommend this only if you’re looking for something simple and not something that has many functions (Apple Watch).
