History

I like a number of things about it. One of favorite things is that I can adjust the history in case I want to correct an entry I made in error. I also like that it syncs with my IPhone Health app. It’s for these two reasons that I stuck with this Waterlogged app instead of switching to another popular water tracking app.

I also take pleasure in the celebratory confetti that rains down when it congratulates me that I’m successful.

The app could be enhanced, though, if it allowed me to track how much hydration I got in various drinks such as juice, etc. Currently, it only allows me to track how much water, coffee, juice, tea, etc that I drink rather than how much hydration each has to offer as compared to water.

Best water tracking app I’ve found

I’ve been looking for a good water tracking app for a while. I tried the ones that you have to keep things alive and while those were fun I also felt like it was to much pressure and I found myself cheating just to keep the creature alive (I know, ridiculous right?). Anyway, this one works perfect for me. It tracks everything without the pressure. I can set up the reminders as I need them. I also like that the water goal is customizable. Some other apps set the goal by your weight but that is not always how you should be determining how much water you should be drinking.

Older reviews said that if you paid for the premium that it does not work and sync to Apple Health or MyFitnessPal, but I have had zero issues. It has been awesome that it inputs it right in there for me! One less step for me to do since I would always forget to add that in MFP. Definitely worth the extra money for the reminders and for it to sync (and no ads).

I also like that it tracks other liquids as well. The one thing that I would like is to be able to add an other liquid container to my favorites. If I know everyday that I’m going to be drinking 8oz of milk or a protein shake I would like to just be able to quickly add that rather than add it manually. But I also realize the main point of this is to track water, so I won’t complain too much. Overall, this is a great app!

Doesn’t work anymore sad to say!

I had this free app when I was on iOS 10, 11 and 12 then when I updated to IOS 14.8, it doesn’t work. Before, I thought it was a really cool app and it really helped me out. I would set reminders and it would give off an alarm like rain or bubbles and it really worked well. Now all I get is just a page with the bottle on it and I can’t go in to anything in the app. What is confusing to me is that the app pops up saying that it wants me to upgrade to iOS 15 but that’s deceiving because on the App Store it says this is supposed to work with 14.0. I have deleted this app and reinstalled it three times—it won’t work so now it’s worthless and I’ve been trying to find something else but I don’t want a bunch of bells and whistles. I just want a basic app that will set off a little alarm to tell me to drink water because I will go the whole day without drinking until the evening when I’m dehydrated. That was basically the whole reason why I first got this Smart phone because my daughter showed me this app and I thought it could really help my health and prevent all the kidneys stones. Ugh!
