Ratings and Reviews
Very powerful iOS client to WeatherCat
WeatherCatRCP is a client for the Macintosh weather data program WeatherCat (version 3.0 and above). It is extremely capable and can used to access essentially all the functionality of WeatherCat. As such, it allows you take all the weather data from your personal weather station when you are “on the go.” WeatherCatRCP, like WeatherCat, is a complex software package that takes some time to understand and make effective use of. However, the learning curve is well worth climbing for the convenience of having weather data you are used to, anywhere you are in the world.
Works like a charm
I have been using this app since it’s inception. It is simple to use and gives me my WeatherCat data, including a peek at my weather camera and my custom text windows from the desktop of the iMac application. Its reports are customizable so I only see the data I want. Couldn’t be happier with it. Works great on my iPhone Xs and my Apple Watch. Tech support through the WeatherCat forum is terrific. I’ve encountered a few hiccups but got good help right away on the forum. There’s no errors like user errors! This app is exactly what you want if you are a WeatherCatter.
Can’t get it to work.
It opens the first time, but can’t connect to my stuff only the test station setup, then crashes. Then it closes upon open after that until deleted and redownloaded.
