Missing key features and polish
The app has inexplicable limitations on searching for payees which makes routine banking chores for me unnecessarily difficult. Most functions are here but the app lacks the polished cleverness of a thoughtful, user-centric platform as we are growing accustomed to seeing on our phones these days. Most of my banking experience is through the app, not the polished marble of the physical bank lobby. I often think about switching banks for a better interface but that is not a small task and the people have been nice when I do go in. I hope for a major app update soon but this one does almost everything you really need...just no fun and sometimes laborious.
This is a good app that seems to work consistently. There are a couple of issues however that I think would be an easy fix and they would make a huge difference in it’s user effectiveness.
First, at the top of the page after selecting an account you show balance and current balance. The number is represented by the balance in the current balance are always identical. It seems very pointless and I’m not sure what they’re supposed to represent.
What would be extraordinarily helpful however would be an “available balance” which would show the current balance minus all pending transactions.
I would also very much like to see the addition of external account transfers where money could be transferred via ACH to external accounts.
Thank you very much, I hope you’ll give serious consideration to these two upgrades.
