A tool to block SMS spammers, defining patterns of phone numbers and keywords/phrases.

Block and allow specific keywords in text messages.
By phone number templates you can literally block messages from whole countries.
Try the app for free, adding up to 3 phone number patterns and keywords.
Full version supports unlimited count of patterns and phrases.
No registration, no subscription, no data collection.

- filter incoming text messages by sender patterns and keywords;
- filter text messages from short numbers;
- filter messages, containing web-link, email.
Don't forget to give permissions to filter SMS and MMS to WideProtect SMS Blocker extension through iPhone Settings: Messages: Unknown & Spam.
The app requires iPhone 5s and higher, iOS 12 and higher.

Needs a little work.
The new SMS version of WideProtect is great except that you can’t yet edit or remove phrases.
Also, I started a new USAA insurance policy, but have USA as a phrase in WideProtect previously. For some reason, WideProtect flags USAA too. So the app needs some tuning.
Otherwise, the app is very good and has served me well for some time.

Edit is not possible, but you can delete phrase - just swipe on it from right to left and tap on button Delete.
To allow messages with text "USAA" pass through, tap on button Plus and add this word to WhiteList.

My phone is fun again!!!
I was getting slammed with SPAM sms messages, about 15 or so a day! The previous owner of my number must have signed up for anything and everything. I was at the point of changing my number when I stumbled across the app in a Reddit post. After installing, buying for the ridiculously low price of a onetime charge for 1.99$ and adding a dozen or so black listed key words ; my phone is fun again!!!
Full disclosure-it didn't work for me at first , make sure you follow all steps at allow. I emailed the dev 2 separate times and both times I had a reply and an answer with an hour or so!!! That's unheard of but appreciated for sure.

Did not work as advertised. Emailed got no answers
I tried to block a bunch of text messages and it came from a +1 (646) number. I tried to put a + in front of the 1 but it won’t let me so I had to put 1 646 * and 1 646-* which supposed to block all numbers start with +1 646. Well text messages with that same number still get through since there is no way for me to put a + in front of the one. The number pad did have a + sign but it won’t let you enter it. I sent the author an email and it has been quite a few days. There is no answer. I bought both programs from him so I will try a different app and get my money back hopefully.
I did grant the app permission in Setting.
