Willie's Rewards 4+

I worked for Chuy’s for 25 years, and Torchy’s Tacos for 9 years. I’m older now so maybe I’m invisible. My experience was just okay this time. My previous one was good. I sat in the handicap place at the bar. (Knee replacement ) Service was slow. I never got my water. I had to raise my hand for them to check on me. I ordered an appetizer, baked potato and salad. My baked potato came out so old and crunchy that I asked for a fresh one. The second one came out the same. The girl said she could try to find a fresher one but didn’t try very hard. I just took it Togo. I know it’s hard to be perfect all of the time, but this felt a little like ageism. Not sure but…
I’ll come back, but maybe do a couple of different times that you bake your potato’s? Anyway, just trying not to head to Costco hungry. And I usually just let any issues go. Thanks for listening. Sincerely. Lee Ann Byrum.

We went to a different restaurant for crawfish here in Georgetown that has the name “Louisiana” in it. After 10 minutes from seating ourself, the server, who we later found out was the manager/family member of the owners walked out of the restroom gave us menus, said “the drinks are at the bottom and walked off. 15 minutes later we left and came to Willie’s.
Victoria was our server and was amazing! Roy, the manager served our food and was also amazing!
The food came out fast, hot and flavorful!
Victoria came by no fewer than 4 times to check on us. Bonus a free pound of crawfish! We will always make Willie’s our first choice on Gtown!!

Overall a great experience. This restaurant just opened and was packed. The server, Panterra was an excellent server and even one’s not serving us were very friendly. One thing I didn’t like was my chicken Caesar salad. Being gluten intolerant, not a lot of things to order. The Caesar dressing was very good and needs a revamp. Also this app is screwy because I’m typing but I can’t see what I wrote because the font is white on a white background!
