Ratings and Reviews
This is my go-to app to see the weather radar and pick up the latest broadcast of the weather.
The app has an issue with auto-rotate on the iPad. It goes to portrait mode when turned on. Sometimes it stays there, sometimes it auto rotates to landscape. Sometimes I try to force it and it goes 180 degrees before I can get it to stick to portrait.
It’s annoying. I wish they would fix it.
One other thing, they should make sure their weather forecast video is from the most recent broadcast.
Radar precipitation wrong
I get here in Florida pop up storms are common but in the morning the forecasts are inaccurate for the day and change constantly, it says rain/storms 60% then an hour later it says sunny 20% ,but if it rains it quickly changes back to “rain in forecast” doesn’t help me plan my day or a trip to beach, also I can be watching a storm rolling up in my back yard , thunder/ lightning etc but nothing even shows on radar , this issue is becoming more frequent.
Warning notifications may or may not Go off so I can’t rely on that either.
Such a disappointment considering it was a decent app.
Updates no longer work
Ever since Apple ended distribution of iPad updates for older iPads, your Wink Weather updates no longer work. The system only gives the user the option to download the last compatible version of the Wink app. Of the 30 or so iPad apps I have loaded the failure to update only occurs on the Wink app and with one other app.
Do you plan on fixing this issue or is it unavoidable.
Thanks (sorry to put this in reviews but no where else to submit it)
