IMDA’s Wireless@SGx application caters to the needs of people who are constantly on the move.
IMDA’s revamp of the application features an improved user interface and new functions.
Through this app, you can:
- Set up your device to automatically connect to the Wireless@SGx network
- Locate Wireless@SG hotspots via an interactive map
- Run speed tests and diagnostics that can help improve network experience
- Receive important updates for Wireless@SG
To prevent potential conflict, please UNINSTALL the older version of Wireless@SGx application and delete all previous Wireless@SGx profiles.
Data charges may be incurred if using this application on a paid connection such as mobile data.

Can’t get OTP using US number
Going to echo other reviews: I was unable to get an SMS confirmation using my foreign (US) phone number. Tried several times, and nothing. Pretty lame, since having WiFi on the MRT would be nice. It would be entirely better if they just used email instead of SMS; non-Singaporeans would be much better off.
Doesn’t work at all
I’m using a foreign phone number and attempting to login manually will NEVER send the one time password (OTP). I’ve tried 10+ times.
Then I thought I could use the app instead. But unfortunately the app ONLY supports Singaporean phone numbers (the manual login supports also foreign country codes).
I’ve deleted the app again.
Not for travelers
This doesn’t work with a foreign phone. I was hoping to be able to use WiFi, but this app doesn’t accept a US phone number even though it looks like it does. I never got a confirmation number. I deleted this app
