WPS Office: PDF, Docs, Sheets 4+

Great for SIMPLE notes only

As a nurse, I was looking for a”simple” word processing app that would let me create a table with information related to my duties (not anything that is personal identifying violating HIPPA.) Yes I already pay for MSWord and iOS apps.

I liked the clean appearance of the blank document page of this app. The controls are at the bottom. After some trial and error I was able to use the icons.

My disappointment came when I used a premade table template offered by this software. I saw no easy way to edit the template. After many wasted hours trying to edit the template, I created a document that was printable but useless for my needs because there is no way to move or change the table lines. I could not see a way to create a new table and start over. All of my typing with two thumbs was wasted.

I have concluded that this word processor is just fine for class notes. It has a highlighting feature and draws shapes making note taking enjoyable. I think it would be good for writers who are writing on the spot or for writing ideas.

Because I needed more features, this word processor would not work for my needs. Wish they had a more detailed tutorial as I couldn’t find one.

This may be the perfect note taking word processor for you. It’s great for simple note taking. Little kids might enjoy it for typing too. This is certainly the way the world is trending - everything for business will be on cellphone apps.

WPS has been a real life saver for me. I love the simplicity of it and the features that it offers. Transferring Microsoft Word docs to WPS has been very easy and sufficient. I’m Also really pleased that WPS keeps the correct file structure when transferring from Microsoft Word. The text, format, colors, highlights, etc. all have worked well for me without error. I have used several Apps for word documents over the years and this to me is one of the best Out there. All of the previous Apps that I’ve used before WPS didn’t stay around for very long. I hope that WPS will stay around and be available for many more years to come. Keep up the Fantastic Work guys! You truly deserve a five star rating from me! Thanks, Drew

Great most of the time

Update: was happy to see an update but disappointed to see many of my pet bugs not fixed. Adding page numbers works if you want to start at “1” or a low number which you can get to quickly by just using the “+” function … the keypad ’number selector’ function does NOT work.

PLEASE FIX

I do depend on WPS for my daily work but still need Microsoft Apps as a backup as, from time to time WPS will crash as it did again today. Had to remove (delete) the App and reinstall. My main complaint about WPS is the search function which is very unstable and usually will crash. I have a few work arounds but lately even they crash. I’m updating my iOS tonight to 16.1 so maybe that might fix my WPS issues but maybe not. I like WPS but I wish it was more stable. I have reported bugs numerous times over several years but they always reply with many questions … like they don’t have any ability to replicate my problems sadly.
